This privacy statement covers the Wefitter.com website. Use of the Wefitter app is covered by a seperate privacy statement.

What is your data used for? 

Your data is used for the following purposes:

• To optionally register your contact information

• To enable the Wefitter.com website to provide you with relevant information

• To analyze the way the Wefitter.com website Is used, in order to improve the quality of the website in the future.

Based on your data, WeFitter does not make autonomous decisions which affect you or other people.

How long do we store your data? 

the Wefitter.com website only stores your contact information (if supplied by you) as long as you agree. You may request removal of your contact information at any time.

For security reasons we store your IP address up to a maximum duration of 1 month. However, when a user attempts to access the Wefitter.com website in a way that clearly differs from its intended use, this can be considered suspicious activity. As a result, the IP address may be stored for a maximum of 2 years for security purposes, and the IP address may be reported to organizations involved in internet security.

Any statistics based partly on your data will be stored, but cannot be used to identify you.

Special and/or sensitive personal data

The Wefitter.com website has no intention to process contact information of users younger than 16 years of age. However, we have no reliable way to determine the actual age of users.

If you feel that we gathered personal data from minors without proper permission, please contact us at privacy@wefitter.com. We will remove the data upon your request.

How long will we keep your personal data? 

WeFitter only processes personal data when there is a legal basis that allows us to process this data. We ensure within this context that personal data is only processed for the specific goal for which it is collected.

WeFitter will not process more personal data than necessary. If possible, we process less or no personal data.

WeFitter ensures that the breach of your privacy is not too extensive for the goal that is served by the collection of the personal data. We choose to process personal data that breaches your privacy the least when there is a choice between several personal data items to achieve a goal. WeFitter will keep your personal data as long as your account exists and as long as it is needed for the goal for which the data was collected or is required based on the Dutch Public Records Act. We do not keep personal data longer than required.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process 

Our website and/or service does not have the intention of collecting data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old unless they have the consent of their parents or guardian. We cannot, however, check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children to ensure that personal data about children is not collected without parental consent.

If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, contact us through help@wefitter.com. We will then erase this information.

Sharing personal data with third parties 

E-vitality B.V. does not sell your data to third parties. Your data is only shared when this is needed for proper operation of the Wefitter.com website, or to fulfill lawful obligations.

When you share contact information with us, this data will be processed by our CRM software: PipeDrive for our exclusive use to get or stay in touch with you.

Any data we share with third parties is based on a data processing agreement with these parties. This agreement ensures that the parties process your data under the same terms that we do. Any shared data will be as restricted in scope and size as possible, given the purpose for which it is shared.

External services

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. We use Google Ads' conversion tracking features on certain pages. If you contact us online, the destination page will have code on it that will help us understand the path you took to arrive on that page.
